Decorative Arts of the Americas

The Art of the Americas collection of decorative arts includes approximately 13,000 works from North, Central, and South America and the Caribbean dating from the 16th century to the present day. Among its strengths are furniture and silver from colonial New England, decorative arts of colonial Latin America, modern design from the 1920s and '30s, and 20th-century studio craft. These objects combine materials and styles from around the world, reflecting the truly global character of the Americas.
