This print differs is some small details from those in London illustrated in The Illustrated Bartsch, and from MFA 68.426. There are various differences in the face, the drapery, and the background. Particularly noticeable is the shading of the background just to the (viewer's) right of Thaïs's left elbow, which in the London impressions, and in 68.426, is slightly darker than the adjacent background, but is not even completely hatched in this impression.
