InscriptionsVerso: calligraphy signed by Sultan 'Ali Mashhadi Recto: Small notations on the page are library inspection notices providing the Shah Jahani regnal years of 24 and 29 (i.e. around 1652 and 1656). Single word at center of the shamsa reads "duvum" or second-class, referring to the quality of the album in the eyes of the librarians.
