The Holy Kinship

Massari describes two states of this print, the second of which is simply described as "retouched." Illustrated Bartsch describes three states of the print. In the first described state, the image extends beyond the borderline; in the second state, the parts of the image outside of the borderline have been removed; in the third state, the plate has been, without further explanation, "retouched." The present impression, which shows the platemark all around, has no borderline.
