In this series, Yoshida used the traditional medium
of woodblock printing with a modern, Westernized
drawing style to show scenes of cherry blossoms
in present-day Japan. This avenue of small stores
offering snacks and souvenirs to the tourists who
have come to see the blossoms is located at the
Sankei-en garden in Yokohama, also the subject
of another print in the series.
