Description
This delightful work was almost certainly prepared to appeal to a growing market of drawings collectors and connoisseurs. Millet's virtuosic handling of a rust-colored crayon to fluidly describe the agile movements of a spinner and animate her surroundings reveals his knowledge, and mastery, of Old Master techniques.
