NOTES:
[1] According to Gaston-Dreyfus, in "Nicolas-Bernard Lépicié" (1923, p.112), this pastel was originally in the Delafosse family collection and was later acquired by Georges Wildenstein in 1923.

[2] At the time of the sale to Wickes, the pastel was said to have been part of the "Exposition des Pastellistes Français" at the Galerie Georges Petit, April 7-26, 1920. This information has not yet been confirmed.
