Description

This bulbous little spout cup provides an interesting nineteenth-century counterpart to the seventeenth- and eighteenth-century examples in the Museum’s collection. It was made during the apparently short-lived partnership of Farnam and Ward, who are listed in the Boston Directory for 1816 only, providing a narrow date range for this object. Each man was involved in other partnerships during the early nineteenth century.
