ProvenanceOnce part of suite of living room furniture acquired for a summer cottage at Bass Rocks, Gloucester, Massachusetts, built in 1902 by William T. Kimball; 1947, the house and its furnishings were purchased by H. Wade White; 1973, gift of the donor (Accession Date March 14, 1973); October 25, 2012, deaccessioned by the MFA for sale through Northeast Auctions, Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
