ProvenanceProbably owned originally by a person with the initials "EH"; by the twentieth century, owned by Anna L. Coolidge, who according to her son, the donor, "remembered it in the back hall of her grandfather's house in Brattleboro [Vermont} as wood box for the kitchen stove"; inherited by the donor in 1983; lent to the Museum in 1985 and converted to a gift in 1991 (Accession Date June 26, 1991)
