InscriptionsStenciled in oval on lower drawer: "Wm. FISK / Cabinet maker / Washington St. / Boston" In graphite on underside of case bottom: " Back" (twice) and "Front" An illegible inscription In pencil appears on the underside of bottom of the middle drawer. A white paper label with red borders glued to the top of the bottom of the highest drawer reads: "Sewing Table / belonged to Anne / Kendall / Given to E.K.U."
