Description
Multi-part dining tables evolved as a distinct form after the American Revolution, when dining rooms became popular. This table splits into two parts that can be stored against a wall when not in use. 
ProvenanceAcquired by the MFA from Charles Woolsey Lyon, May 1930, purchased as a pair with 30.453b for $2,500.
