DescriptionConical wood body terminating in cylindrical section with three small feet. Head end is ovoid. Single head of animal skin, held in place by web of thick twined plant fiber laced around two separate rings of braided palm (?) fiber. Small carrying loop of leather at one edge of head. ProvenanceFrancis W. Galpin (1858-1945), Hatfield Regis, England; 1916, sold by Francis W.
