InscriptionsMaker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, ID(?), a cinquefoil(?) or a star(?) Possibly that of Jacques Duguay, Nocq gives his mark as JD and a shell(See Nocq, p. 116). Warden's Mark: 1738-1739: a crowned Y (Dennis, 185). Charge Mark: probably the mark for 1738-1744: a crowned A with palm branches (Dennis, 185). Discharge Mark: for small work, 1738-1744: a fox's head (Dennis, 192). The discharge mark is on the nozzle.Provenance1912, Sold by Leon Helft to Fr.
