InscriptionsMARKS: just below the rim, to the right of the handle, maker's mark FG with a pellet below in a shaped shield (sim to Grimwade 3570); lion passant; leopard's head crowned; date letter N (1728/9). All four repeated on inside of lid.** SCRATCHES: engraved shallowly twice, on the underside of base and body, weight"57=13". **Repeated on the handle, maker's mark.
