InscriptionsMARKS: on the underside of the body, maker's mark SW in a rectangle (possibly illustrated in Bennet, 1972, p347); harp crowned; Hibernia. INSCRIPTIONS: engraved on underside, "I*R". SCRATCHES: engraved on underside, "6 = 16". ARMORIALS: engraved at the neck of the jug, an unidentified crest of an antlered stag facing dexter.
