[1] Quincy Bent (b. 1879- d. 1955) and his wife, Deborah Norris (Brock) Bent, had their summer home "Quattro Venti" built around 1912/1914. Mrs. Bent oversaw the design of the house and decorated the interior. According to the 2013 Skinner catalogue, Mrs. Bent bought most of the furnishings in Italy, with her mother, Deborah Norris (Coleman) Brock, while the house was being constructed.
