InscriptionsARMORIALS: engraved on the base, a coat of arms; engraved on the center light and on each detachable waxpan, a crest; both are identified: Dickinson quartering Fuller and impaling Smith for William Dickinson, Esq., of Kingweston, co. Somerset, b 1 Nov 1771, MP for Somersetshire in 7 successive Parliaments, m1803 Sofia, eldest dau of Samuel Smith, Esq., of Woodhall Park, co. Herts. He died at Naples 19 Jan 1837, s. by his eldest surviving son.
