Description
The Rozenburg factory is known for its production of porcelain and pottery in the Art Nouveau style. Adopting the curvilinear forms and stylized decorative motifs fashionable throughout Europe, the factory developed a sophisticated range of wares. The decoration of this charger, with its brown background and somber palette, was probably inspired by Indonesian batik-printed cloth.
