Description

Three prints for the price of one! The first two are cut into strips, glued back to back and then suspended at ninety degrees to the third, which forms the background. Why a young lady, a ship, and a bouquet? Your guess is as good as ours.

ProvenanceBetween about 1970 and 2017, acquired by Richard Balzer (b. 1944 - d. 2017), Brookline, MA; by inheritance to Patricia Bellinger; 2019, gift of Patricia Bellinger to the MFA. (Accession Date: April 24, 2019)
