NOTE: According to the dealer, the photograph may have been consigned by Marie-Thérèse and André Jammes, Paris, who had acquired a large group of Nadar/Tournachon photographs in the 1960s from Michel-François Braive. Braive, in turn, had acquired his photographs from Marthe Nadar.
