Description
The shapes of pewter relate directly to contemporaneous English silver, ceramics, and glass. A broad rimmed charger from Reading, the work of Henry Frewin Sr. is a good example of sadware (plates, dishes, and chargers) which formed a large part of pewter production in the 17th century.
