Description
Neither Apell nor Le Blanc lists any unfinished states of this print. In this impression, the head of Mary Magdalen is completed, but her body and cloak are only lightly engraved in outline. The British Museum has an impression in which the cloak is completed, but the upper body and feet are not. Therefore this impression is the first of five known states.
