Song Lao (b. 1634 - d. 1713). 18th century, Emperor Qianlong (b. 1711 - d. 1799), Qing dynasty; to Emperor Jiaqing (b. 1760 - d. 1820), Qing dynasty; probably given by one of the later Qing emperors to Yixin, Prince Gong (b. 1833 - d. 1898) [see note 1]. 19th/20th century, Chang Yun-chung. By 1927, Yamamoto Teijiro (b. 1870 -d. 1937), Tokyo; sold by Yamamoto Teijiro to Yamanaka and Co., New York; 1933, sold by Yamanaka to the MFA for $11,000. (Accession Date: March 2, 1933)
