Obtained gsmiths tools from Edward Winslow's estate in 1753, married Winslow's granddaughter in 1762. Witnessed deed with William Homes, Sr. in 1753 for sale of land from Andrew Oliver and wife Susannah to her brother Daniel Boyer. Purchased gold beads from Ipswich ssmith Daniel Rogers. Had Paul Revere Jr. make technically difficult silver pieces for him in 1762 and 1786. Granted mortgage to possible widow of William Tyler, this deed witnessed by Thomas Townsend. Inventory of his estate appraised by Samuel Belknap, among others. Minott routinely retailed silver made by others: Josaih Austin, Samuel Bartlett, Paul Revere, Jr., William Homes, Jr., Thomas Townsend and William Simpkins.
