His wife's sister was mother of William Whittemore, his grandson was George Tyler. Appraised estate of John Coney. Knight Leverett and Samuel Burrill witnesses to deed where Tyler sold land to Joseph Ricks on July 30, 1722. Theophilus Burrill witnessed another deed for Tyler in 1727. John Banks witnessed another deed in Aug. 1724. George Hanners, Sr. witnessed Tyler's mother's will in 1716/17. Ssmith I. or T. Tyler may have been related to Andrew Tyler. Along with John Edwards, paid for funeral rings from estate of Thomas Clarke in 1732. As one of overseers of estate of James Barnes, Jr's. father-in-law, Tyler was involved in lawsuit with Thomas Savage, Sr. Sued John Pitts in 1734. Sued by watchmaker Elijah Collins in 1737/38.
