Francis Low Harding, Alexander H. Lewis, Lewis Kimball; Farrington and Hunnewell were employed in his shop before starting their own wholesale flatware business in 1835. (Leading Pursuits p.394); H.L. Webster (Providence 1831 Gorham partner) "assumed an interest" in Harding's business in 1841.
