"Born in Grafton on Oct. 13, 1757, died in Boston on May 20, 1844, age 87. He was taught clockmaking by his brothers Benjamin and Simon Willard . . . Aaron first worked in Grafton with his brothers and clocks signed by him in Grafton are known. . . . Aaron made tall clocks, gallery clocks, 30-hour Grafton wall clocks, and MA shelf clocks. He also made patent timepieces . . .
