Joseph Nye Dunning1795–1841
"Born in Brunswick, ME on Jan. 2, 1795, died in Burlington on Dec. 14, 1841. Dunning was a journeyman with Lemuel Curtis in Concord, MA. They first advertised as a partnership, Curtis & Denning, in June 1821 . . . Their co-partnership was dissolved in May 1832 and Dunning continued independently in the clockmaking business. . . .
