Willington Glass Works

Formed in 1815 as the Willington Glass Works it is sold and reincorporated in 1847 as the Willington Glass Company. Apparently glass was not made again until 1849. The company prospered until the panic of 1857 and never fully recovered. Business was conducted on a smaller scale until the company finally ceased production in 1872.
