Charles Burt

Charles Burt was one of the prominent fine art engravers employed to make prints for distribution by the American Art-Union (1840-1852) based in New York City. All subscribers were entitled to a print based on a painting from the AAU's distribution for each respective year as a part of their $5 subscription fee.
