Georgiana Welles (Sargent)

Georgiana Welles was born on 9/22/1818 in the Boston-area to Mehetable Sumner (1784-1826) and Benjamin Welles (1781-1860) (Harvard Class of 1800). On February 17, 1854 she married John Osborn Sargent (1811-1891) (born in Gloucester, died in Boston) at Trinity Church in Boston. Their only child was Miss Georgiana Welles Sargent (1858-around 1950), who eventually lived in New York City.
