Elizabeth Roberts

Elizabeth Roberts (d1651-1713) was born in London, England. Her father, Nicholas R. Roberts (d. 1676), was an iron merchant and had married her mother, Elizabeth Baker, in Uxbridge, Middlesex, England in 1644.

Elizabeth Roberts married Col. Samuel Shrimpton (1643-1698) of Boston in London in 1669. Together, they had one child, Samuel Shrimpton, Jr. (1673-1703).

Elizabeth Roberts's second husband was Simeon Stoddard. Together, they had one child, David Stoddard.

Her portrait, her mother's, father's, sister's, and grandmother's portraits are curently in the collection of the Massachusetts Historical Society. Col. Samuel Shrimpton's portrait is also there.
