Frederick Hurten Rhead

Frederick Hurten Rhead was born in England, and worked in the United States from 1902 until his death in 1942. He worked as design director for Homer Laughlin China Company, from 1927 until his death in 1942, and was responsible for the design of the colorful dinnerware line, Fiesta, first retailed in 1936.
