René Robert Bouché

Born in France. Moved to USA in 1941, where he began regular work for

American VOGUE. In 1947, he began to teach at Parsons School of Design in NYC. In 1962 his portrait of Sophia Loren was on the cover of an April issue of TIME. He was the most important USA fashion illustrator, and then suddenly died in 1963.
