Mary Fifield Adams

Born 1694 to Boston sea captain Richard Fifield and his first wife Mary Thurston (married in 1688); step-daughter of Mary Drew Fifield (1672-1713), who married Richard Fifield in 1701. Married in 1713 to Boston brewer Samuel Adams (b. 1689). Mother of Mary Adams (b. 1717), who married Boston tailor James Allen in 1742; mother of Massachusetts governor Samuel Adams (b. 1722); and Joseph Adams (b. 1728. Died 1748.
