Giles Deacon

Giles Decon (born 1969). Deacon graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1992. He went on to work for designers Jean Charles de Castelbajac, Bottega Veneta, and Gucci Group. His first womenswear collection was presented at London Fashion Week in 2004. That same year he was Awarded 'Best New Designer' at the British Fashion Awards and in 2005 received Elle's 'Best New Designer' award. He was again recognized at the British Fashion Awards as 'British Fashion Designer of the Year' for 2006. In 2009 he was awarded the French ANDAM Fashion Award's Grand Prix. Deacon has also collaborated with the fashion brand New Look and was creative director for Ungaro from 2010-2011.
