"The social aspect is the motivation in her work to try to understand the social orders, the behavior structures, to meditate on power, politics and culture. She studies the communication and the language like catalysts of the social behavior. Mary Claudia analyses the individual subject in the collective development, questioning the social role of the artist. She perceives it as researcher that using symbolic elements points dysfunctional and disconcerting aspects of her reality. Her works are consequence of actions, interventions or performances.
