Description
A schooner is a sailing vessel rigged fore and aft and with two or more masts. With sails that could be operated by small crews, schooners have been used for fishing, trading, and piloting. "Wave" easily could have been managed by three people, and the shallow design of the hull made her useful in coastal and river waters.
