Vice-Admiral SIR REGINALD H.S. BACON, K.C.B., K.C.V.O., D.S.O., who, after a distinguished career in various branches of the Royal Navy, served with the British Expeditionary Force in France. He commanded the Dover Patrol from 1915 to 1918, when he became Controller of the Munitions Inventions Department.
