InscriptionsMaker's Mark: a crowned fleur-de-lis, two grains, JTV, a lily, Incomplete (Dennis, 336). Warden's Mark: for 1778: a crowned P, incomplete (Dennis, 20). Charge Mark: for small work ,1775-1781: PARIS in the form of a cipher (Dennis, 17). Other: Possibly the discharge mark for 1775-1781: a monkey's head (Dennis, 336); Possibly the discharge mark for works intended for export 1775-1781: a camel's head, 16). The two undetermined marks are found on the exterior rim of the base and on the bobeche.
